The meetings help to support GLTC staff amidst route change implementation.
CVPDC staff conducted two input sessions with the GLTC Route advisory committee geared toward upcoming route and scheduling changes to the transit company’s fixed route system. GLTC bus drivers and supervisors provided input on changes resulting from the upcoming implementation of 2 way traffic on currently served streets in downtown Lynchburg as well as addressing scheduling changes on routes in Lynchburg’s urban core which will increase frequency of service. Based on their extensive field knowledge of the system, this groups input will be valuable in providing recommendations to assure that these changes run seamlessly.
